Description:
MCLD was approached by the National Capital Commission (NCC) in 2015 to develop an illumination design for the exterior of Rideau Hall, the Governor General’s residence. This was the culmination of a forecourt redesign at the hall. MCLD was responsible for developing a design concept and steering it through design review committees. As part of our concept and design development, a series of mock-ups were undertaken to enable the client to visualize the final installation as a quantity of lighting equipment had to be mounted in the landscape.
